Could this be a Tennis Champ turned Style Icon ?

Caroline Wozniacki has recently triumphed both on the court and the red carpet. Her style oozes the glamour of a strong and independent women, with an underlying of femininity. But its not just at suave events that she wins style points. She has now convinced me to keep more up to date with the tennis, just so I can see what cute sports wear she's wearing today, be it a white pleated skirt or a dress with a frilled neckline. So my question is, is Caroline soon going to become a new style icon? Well I sure know I'm prepared for the next time a sporting trend comes along!

Gaga's Latest Fashion Love

At the MTV VMA Awards today - Lady Gaga did not conform to everyones expectations of wearing her expressive Avant-Garde fashion. Instead she opened the ceremony as her hot male alter-ego Jo Calderone - from her new beautifully heat-warming song 'You & I'. I also must admit that I find this 50's rock'n'roll rough'n'tough man - who rather reminds me of Danny from Grease - oddly attractive . . .

Congrats Queen B ! ! !

Can it be true? Is THE one and only gorgeous Beyonce & Jay Z going to have their first child? I celebration of this lovely news, heres a collection of photos displaying beyonce's 2011 highlights, from the most recent baby-bump photos to her loved up with her man Jay z, from her fashion photo shoots to even her work with the fabulous Lady Gaga.

Oh the fun of a chiffon skirt . . . Swissshhhhh

I can't get enough of all the sheer chiffon skirts around at the moment - whether they are full-length, mid-length, a-line or pleated. It was love at first sight when i laid eyes on this dusk blue chiffon skirt. Works great with white heels and feminine lace!

Dotting Around

Inspired by the 1950's glamour and this season's Polka-Dot print (as seen in Marc Jacobs AW11 show), I have combined vintage with bargain high street for a playful yet sexy sheer look, with bright red nails and lipstick. I have also added my favourite ring - a golden crown - that is symbolic to me of Alexander McQueen - my biggest inspiration.

Sheer Polka-Dot dress - Vintage Debenhams - £1 from Vintage Store - Previously a night robe with alterations to the sleeves; Strapless Body-Con Dress (warn under) - £3 from Bay; Turquoise Belt - £2 from Dorothy Perkins; White & Cork Summer Heels - £9 from New Look; Gold Crown Ring - £5 from Accessorize.

The Future is Bright . . . Well at Least AW11 is

Zac Posen

The future of fashion is exactly that, futuristic. Embrace the forward-thinking designers with this space obsessed future. Popularised in the 1960's when man first set foot in space, the space age futurism and sci-fi modernism has now developed and matured, using modernistic fabrics - such as ink-cased plastic at Christopher Kane, silver latex at Marc Jacobs and rotary blade rubber shoulders at Victor & Rolf. The key features of this trend include sharp shoulders and metallic flashes.

My Little Fashionable Fetish

Dominatrix boots, tightly laced corsets, flasher macs, leather, rubber, lace, bras, stockings, pants . . . and lots and lots of bare skin. This season's power-dressing comes in the form of sex, from handcuffed bags at Louis Vuitton (as above) to figure hugging dresses at Stella McCartney. Perhaps this high end S&M theme was injected by Rihanna earlier this year, but it has now been taken over by Kate Moss's closure of the Louis Vuitton catwalk show in a pair of skin tight hot pants and by Lady Gaga's appearance in the Mugler catwalk show this AW11. And here's what the designers have to say:

"Instead of thinking of it as a dirty thing, it's really a beautiful thing." - Marc Jacobs

"Fetish is about the fun of dressing up, about empowerment and showing women in control. It's not meant to be misogynistic" - Giles Deacon

"The shoe is the biggest evocation of sexuality; it's what drives the fetish look - the stilettos cause the bottom to kick out." - Christian Louboutin
