So tomorrow I have a work trial & have to dress all in black, smart but fashionable. I will of course be styling them up with accessories, but which dress do I wear? A) French Connections - Chiffon layered belted dress OR B) Tailored dress with flared skirt (but may be a tad short! What do you think?) OPINIONS PLEASE ♥
SOooooooo - embarrassing much?!? YES! But as I said, a lot of top blogs are doing it (better probably!) so I thought why not, it allows my personality to come out a bit more to all more followers & gives my blog a nice personal touch. Also I just wanted to show off my lovely new glossy Elle Collections magazine <3 Anyway let me know what you think about the videos!
Along with all the trend reports being released in the next few weeks, as will the designer's and high street's lookbooks, and I am proud to introduce to you today the River Island lookbook, along with a video of the team describing next season's pieces. I particularly liked how River Island have really stepped up a level for next season, with the pieces looking much more luxurious and designer than previous seasons.
So today I felt like I was in need of a bit of (vintage) retail therapy, at one of my favourite little vintage stores that is tucked away in my quaint little hometown. Now I see myself as being very privileged, as the area of which I live houses many a wealthy person, so this little vintage shop is always topped up nicely with their past designer pieces, but with cheaper prices (due to being within a small town). So when I visited today I was expecting a nice little find, however I was not expecting to find this 100% silk VINTAGE BURBERRY top hanging lonely and unloved on the sale rail!!! But no fear, I snapped it up very quickly and it now has a loving home in my wardrobe. Another bonus to this blouse is that it also fits in nicely with AW12's upcoming trend of fiery colours - see more on this trend here http://dressme-imyourmannequin.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/aw-trend-report-2012-asian-major.html . So win win situation!

The sunset on the last day - very symbolic, very emotional!
